Owner of Onyx Storm Throws

Onyx Storm Throws started in Missouri during my undergraduate at William Woods University and has blossomed in the family you see. I had and still have one goal: make elite-level throws coaching accessible to everyone.

During my undergraduate, I saw the power that great coaches can have on someone and was tired of so many teammates not having the same experience in middle and high school. Sadly, throws still don’t have the same respect as some other sports in America. However, it can be easier to get scholarships, and no matter the level you compete at, you can still become elite.

This is why I eagerly consult with schools as well as offer individual camps/clinics to ensure that every thrower (regardless of achievements) improves. I know getting into coaching can be difficult and I want to help understand that steep learning curve and make you a real force in the coaching world.

I was blessed to earn a national championship, several All-Americans, compete at USATF Indoor meets, and be inducted into 2 Hall of Fames as an athlete. As a coach, I have played small in the success of programs like ETSU, William Woods University, Liberty Bell Middle School, Fall Branch Middle School, and more. Earning many school records and national rankings along the way
